Seaside, Oregon is one of the closest beaches from Portland, Oregon.  It’s a classic beach town complete with arcade games, tourist focused clothing and art shops, a paved beach walk (the promenade), and even a merry-go-round.  Seaside, Oregon’s beer offerings, fortunately, are not limited to the “classic”  Bud Light and Miller Light options.  

Most restaurants seem to have at least a craft beer option or two.  Additionally, these are a few places for beer lovers to go to specifically get a craft beer in Seaside, Oregon.  

The Whet Spot – Tap Room and Bottle Shop

If you’re looking for variety, the Whet Spot has it.  You can find local, regional, and even further out craft beer options on tap and by the can/bottle.  There are also wine and cider options for that one person in your group who doesn’t drink beer.  There’s always one! :). Friendly local owners make it a place you might be tempted to hang out all day.

Times Theater and Public House

Craft brewer Sisu Beer brews and serves up craft beer in an adorable historic theater in Seaside, Oregon.  The nostalgia of the past pairs well with craft beer.  You can grab an appetizer, full-meal, or a concession (candy and popcorn!) depending on your hunger level.

Seaside Brewery

Seaside Brewery’s motto is “think local, drink coastal.”  A visit to the brewery allows you to grab a drink while enjoying some history because Seaside Brewery’s home is the old city hall and jail building!  Seaside offers a solid variety of craft Northwest style beers with largely locally inspired beer names like “Sneaker Wave IPA.  Growler and other to-go options available too.  

On the food front, Seaside Brewery offers a variety of basic bar food but they’re best known for their barbeque.  There’s also dessert: helloooo, marrionberry cobbler.
